| Remarks | It was the size a a planet or single airplane light over the Chicagoland area. Then from as far right (west) as possible through the trees it appeared as a very fast, accelerating downward and across the horizon, off white dot across the sky like a plane. It seemed not to be a plane when there were no flashing lights and its speed was three times or more than any other plane nearby. In mid air, I directed my mother Kim, to look and she also observed the last second or two of it before it stopped shining and disappeared just above the tree line to the sountheast. |
